Vex Arkveld arrived in Eorzea as many do — without a past, drawn only by the whisper of something greater. The first steps in Limsa Lominsa were humble, the aether unfamiliar, the horizon overwhelming. But every Warrior of Light begins somewhere.
Through Nael's fire and Alexander's gears, through the Lifestream itself and the void beyond the First — Vex has faced each trial with a stubborn refusal to fall and a glamour plate that always manages to look incredible doing it.
The Free Company wasn't planned. It began with a simple idea: what if we could make somewhere that felt like home? The Shire «LOTR» on Halicarnassus is that place — small, warm, and growing into something more wonderful every day.
This blog is a love letter to FFXIV — to its beauty, its story, its community, and yes, its absolutely unhinged glamour system. If even one person reads these words and feels the magic of Eorzea reflected back at them, that is enough.
